Job Description
Location: Orpington, Greater London Salary - £37,000 - £40,000 depending on experience We are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Office Manager to join our growing Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance division in our Orpington HQ. This is a varied and important role, supporting the day-to-day running of the business and helping to ensure our cleaning, grounds maintenance and landscaping teams have everything they need to deliver a high-quality service to our customers. You will be a central point of contact between our customers, management team, office and operational staff. The ideal person will be highly organised, confident communicating with people at all levels, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. As an Office Manager you’ll be:
- Supporting the operations teams, Head of Departments and Managing Director at a high level by interacting with our clients and internal departments • Managing a team of Business Support Administrators, supporting with all administration tasks • Taking ownership of weekly and monthly financial and operational reporting for Ops teams and senior stakeholders • Maintaining performance and other data trackers for regions, providing reports and analysis as required. • Manage the Helpdesk inbox, dealing with all client and supplier queries • Dealing with costing and re-costing of client contract and liaising with key clients and outside agencies and supporting in issue resolution. • Providing general admin support to your region, and any other reasonable tasks as required by MD/RD As an Office Manager you’ll have:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience leading a team of Business Support Administrators
- Experience in a similar Office Management / Business Support Management role
- Ability to communicate well both in writing (emails, letters, presentations, and data reporting) and verbally (calls, meetings, presentations, and Teams).
- Ability to identify problems, make decisions, demonstrate initiative, and influence change in a fast-paced environment.
- Appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with colleagues from Partner regions and support services.
