Offshore Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client requires a seasoned Offshore Installation Engineer to oversee complex installation campaigns for their projects, based operationally near Plymouth . This critical role involves planning, executing, and managing the safe and efficient installation of subsea structures, pipelines, and platforms in offshore environments. You will work closely with fabrication teams, marine operations, and engineering disciplines to ensure all installation activities meet stringent safety, quality, and schedule requirements within the oil and gas sector . This is a hands-on role demanding strong leadership and technical expertise in a challenging offshore context.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed offshore installation procedures and plans.
• Oversee fabrication and pre-assembly activities related to offshore installations.
• Manage and coordinate marine spreads, including vessels and barges, during offshore campaigns.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies during offshore operations.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving during offshore installation phases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Offshore Installation Engineer or similar role in offshore construction.
• Strong knowledge of offshore installation techniques for structures, pipelines, and equipment.
• Experience with project management and contract management in offshore projects.
• Familiarity with marine operations, vessel management, and offshore safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Marine Engineering.
