About the Role
Our client is actively searching for a highly experienced and safety-focused Offshore Installation Manager to lead critical projects from a remote operational base, supporting operations primarily related to the Oil & Gas sector. This is a unique opportunity to manage complex offshore activities and personnel, ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency, all coordinated from a remote command center. The successful candidate will leverage cutting-edge technology and communication tools to oversee a global workforce and ensure seamless execution of offshore campaigns, working from our central Coventry hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all offshore installation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project execution plans, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Oversee the coordination of marine operations, including vessel management, logistics, and personnel deployment.
- Champion a strong safety culture, actively promoting best practices and ensuring robust risk management processes are in place.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in offshore operations management, with a significant track record in leadership roles within the Oil & Gas industry .
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex offshore installations, construction, and decommissioning projects.
- Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations, environmental policies, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse, geographically dispersed teams through effective remote communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Operations, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
