Offshore Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) for a critical contract position based in Bradford , overseeing operations on a high-profile offshore project. The OIM is responsible for the overall safety, integrity, and efficiency of the offshore installation and its personnel during their tour of duty. You will lead a diverse team, ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This is a leadership role demanding extensive offshore experience and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence in the oil and gas sector .

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the offshore platform, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Manage and lead all personnel on the installation, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular safety drills and ensure the readiness of emergency equipment.
• Liaise with onshore management, ensuring clear communication regarding operational status and requirements.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports on daily operations, safety performance, and any incidents.

Requirements

• Extensive offshore operational experience, with a significant portion in a leadership role such as OIM or Operations Superintendent.
• Valid OIM certification or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Strong understanding of offshore safety management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability in team leadership , decision-making, and crisis management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with commissioning and start-up operations is highly desirable for this project.
