Offshore Wind Farm Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Offshore Wind Farm Project Manager to oversee significant projects based out of Belfast . This role is critical for the development and execution of large-scale offshore wind energy projects, contributing to the UK's ambitious renewable energy targets. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial development through to construction and commissioning, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget. This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned project manager in the renewables sector to lead impactful initiatives in a rapidly growing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of offshore wind farm projects from conception to completion.
• Manage all project aspects including scope, budget, schedule, risk, quality, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee tender processes, contract negotiation, and the management of EPC contractors and key suppliers.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise effectively with regulatory bodies, port authorities, and local communities to facilitate project progress.
• Provide leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically within the offshore wind industry or other large-scale marine/energy infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-million pound offshore projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind technology, consenting processes, and supply chain dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
