On-Call Firefighter — Frontline Emergency Responders

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service in Oswestry is seeking on-call firefighters to provide essential cover across 22 stations. You’ll respond to a range of emergencies, work as part of a close-knit team, and balance on-call duties with everyday life.

Training begins with a two-week course, then ongoing evening sessions and continuous development throughout your career. Applicants must live or work within five minutes of a station, be over 18, and be physically fit.
