About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Online Childcare Curriculum Developer to work remotely, designing engaging and effective educational content for early years settings. This role focuses on creating digital resources, lesson plans, and training modules that align with the latest pedagogical approaches and regulatory standards, including the EYFS framework . You will be instrumental in shaping the learning experiences of young children and supporting childcare professionals through innovative digital platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive online curriculum materials for early years education, covering all developmental domains.
• Create interactive digital content, including e-learning modules, videos, and downloadable resources.
• Ensure all curriculum content adheres to the EYFS framework and relevant safeguarding requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and early years practitioners to ensure pedagogical soundness and practical application.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging text for learning materials, assessment tools, and facilitator guides.
• Update and revise existing curriculum content based on feedback, new research, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, specifically within the early years sector.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and contemporary early childhood education theories.
• Excellent writing, editing, and instructional design skills, with experience in digital content creation.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote setting, based in or near Belfast .
