About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated part-time Online Course Facilitator to join their educational services team in Nottingham . This role involves facilitating online learning experiences for students, requiring a balance of remote work and potential on-site responsibilities within a hybrid framework. You will be responsible for guiding students through their course material, fostering active participation, and providing supportive feedback. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, a passion for education, and proficiency in navigating digital learning platforms. This position is integral to maintaining the quality and engagement of our online offerings, ensuring students receive excellent academic guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging online discussions and virtual classroom sessions, promoting student interaction.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments, assessments, and participation.
• Monitor student progress and engagement, identifying and addressing any support needs.
• Serve as a key point of contact for students, answering queries and providing guidance on course content.
• Collaborate with instructors and curriculum developers to ensure course quality and alignment with learning objectives.
• Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive online learning community.

Requirements

• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or facilitating online courses is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital collaboration tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide learners.
• A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Comfort working within a hybrid model, adapting to both remote and in-person requirements.
