Online Course Facilitator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Online Course Facilitator to join their expanding digital learning division, based in Edinburgh . This role offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, with the position being primarily remote. You will be responsible for guiding learners through our comprehensive online courses, fostering a dynamic learning community, and ensuring high levels of student engagement and achievement. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, possess strong pedagogical knowledge, and be adept at using technology to enhance the learning experience. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and engaging online lessons and facilitate meaningful student discussions.
• Provide consistent, constructive feedback on student assignments, participation, and progress.
• Monitor student engagement levels and proactively address any challenges or concerns that arise.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for students, offering support and guidance on course-related matters.
• Collaborate with instructional design teams to ensure course content remains current and effective.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of our online learning resources and strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an educator, facilitator, or tutor in an online or blended learning environment.
• Strong understanding of online learning principles and best practices, including student engagement strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building rapport virtually.
• A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, or a subject-specific field.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and common educational technology tools.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a remote team, demonstrating self-discipline and organizational prowess.
