About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Online Curriculum Developer to join their remote team, focusing on creating engaging and effective learning experiences for students nationwide. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and updating online course content across various subjects, ensuring it meets high pedagogical standards and incorporates modern instructional design principles. This role requires a strong understanding of how to translate complex subject matter into accessible and interactive online modules. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, skilled in instructional design, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote capacity, contributing to educational innovation from Sunderland .

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, interactive, and accessible online course content, including lesson plans, multimedia elements, and assessments.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy and relevance of curriculum materials.
• Revise and update existing online courses based on student feedback, performance data, and evolving industry standards.
• Ensure all curriculum adheres to instructional design best practices and accessibility guidelines.
• Utilize various authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to build and deploy online courses.
• Conduct needs analyses to identify learning gaps and propose appropriate curriculum solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in online curriculum development or instructional design.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms .
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and pedagogical theories.
• Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
