Our client is looking for an innovative and creative Online Learning Designer to contribute to their expanding digital education offerings, working a hybrid schedule in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK . This role focuses on transforming traditional educational content into engaging and effective online learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to develop interactive modules, multimedia resources, and assessments that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Your expertise in instructional design principles and digital tools will be vital in creating cutting-edge online courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging online course content using various multimedia and interactive tools.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective learning experiences.
- Create assessments, quizzes, and activities to measure student comprehension and retention.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into accessible online formats.
- Ensure all digital learning materials are accessible, user-friendly, and meet quality standards.
- Update and revise existing online course content based on feedback and performance data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and developing online learning courses and materials.
- Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Strong understanding of web-based learning technologies and pedagogical approaches .
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
