About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Online Learning Platform Specialist to manage and optimize their digital learning environment. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to educational innovation from anywhere. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation, user experience, and continuous improvement of their e-learning platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, a deep understanding of online pedagogy, and strong communication skills to support students and educators. Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain the primary Learning Management System (LMS) and associated e-learning tools.
- Provide technical support and training to instructors and learners on platform features and functionalities.
- Develop and implement strategies for enhancing user experience and engagement on the platform.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT for system upgrades and integrations.
- Create and manage user accounts, course structures, and content within the LMS.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in e-learning and make recommendations for platform enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and supporting an LMS (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, D2L).
- Strong technical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and online course delivery best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience in developing user guides, tutorials, and training materials.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, or a related field is preferred.
