About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Online Mathematics Tutor to provide essential academic support to students through their digital learning platform. This remote role involves delivering engaging and personalized mathematics instruction to students from secondary school through to college level. You will explain complex mathematical concepts clearly, assist with homework and revision, and foster a deeper understanding and confidence in mathematics. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group online tutoring sessions in various mathematics subjects (e.g., Algebra, Calculus, Statistics).
• Develop tailored lesson plans and exercises to address individual student learning needs and challenges.
• Clearly explain mathematical concepts, theories, and problem-solving techniques.
• Assist students with homework assignments, revision strategies, and exam preparation.
• Utilise interactive whiteboards and digital tools to create an engaging virtual learning environment.
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at secondary or tertiary level.
• Strong understanding of core mathematics curricula and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
• Proficiency in using online tutoring platforms and digital educational tools.
