About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Online Merchandiser to join their team in Bristol . You will be responsible for curating and optimizing the product offering on the e-commerce website to maximize sales and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of consumer trends, product placement, and promotional strategies within the online retail space. You will work cross-functionally with buying, marketing, and web development teams to ensure a compelling and seamless shopping experience for customers, driving revenue growth through effective product presentation and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute online merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and sales performance.
• Manage product catalog content, including descriptions, imagery, pricing, and categorization.
• Develop and implement promotional campaigns, discounts, and bundles to drive sales and clear inventory.
• Analyze sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify merchandising opportunities and challenges.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign planning and execution to ensure cohesive product promotion.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to ensure competitive product offerings and pricing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in online merchandising or a related e-commerce role.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, product information management (PIM) systems, and merchandising best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and customer insights.
