About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly knowledgeable and engaging Online Physics Tutor to provide specialist academic support to students nationwide via a remote learning platform. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced educator or subject matter expert to leverage their expertise and passion for Physics to help students excel in their studies. You will deliver engaging virtual lessons, provide personalized guidance, and help students build confidence and understanding of complex scientific concepts, contributing to their success in exams and fostering a lifelong interest in science from the comfort of your own location.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, interactive online tutoring sessions in Physics to students at various levels (GCSE, A-Level, University).
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials suitable for a virtual learning environment.
• Assess student understanding through regular quizzes, assignments, and discussions.
• Provide constructive feedback and tailored support to help students overcome learning challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Utilize a range of digital tools and platforms to create an engaging and effective online learning experience.

Requirements

• A degree in Physics or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring Physics, preferably in an online setting.
• Strong understanding of the UK Physics curriculum and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing and online learning management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet tutoring commitments.
