About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative and adaptable Online Secondary School Teacher to deliver high-quality education remotely to students in the Newcastle upon Tyne area and beyond. This position is a remote-first role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in developing and delivering engaging online curriculum content, utilising a range of digital tools and platforms to foster student participation and learning. Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic, interactive online lessons for secondary school students across designated subjects.
- Develop engaging digital learning materials, including presentations, videos, and interactive assignments.
- Facilitate online discussions, provide timely feedback, and monitor student progress through virtual platforms.
- Utilise learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technologies effectively.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and the wider school team regarding academic progress and well-being.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in secondary school teaching, with a strong understanding of curriculum delivery.
- Demonstrated proficiency in online teaching methodologies and educational technology platforms.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills for a remote setting.
