About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and engaging Online Tutor specialising in GCSE and A-Level Sciences to join their expanding virtual education platform. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about making science accessible and understandable to students across the UK. You will deliver personalised one-to-one and small group sessions, helping students grasp complex scientific concepts, prepare for exams, and build confidence in their abilities. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert online tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for GCSE and A-Level students.
• Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans and resources suitable for virtual learning environments.
• Assess student understanding through interactive exercises, quizzes, and mock exam papers.
• Offer clear explanations, address student queries, and provide constructive feedback to support learning progression.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development.
• Utilise various online teaching tools and platforms to create an engaging and effective learning experience.

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching or tutoring at GCSE and A-Level.
• Excellent understanding of the UK science curriculum for these levels.
• Proficiency in using online collaboration and video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
