About the Role

Our client is looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Online Tutor with expertise in GCSE English Literature to join their virtual education team. This role focuses on providing comprehensive, remote support to students preparing for their GCSE exams, helping them to develop critical analysis skills and a deeper understanding of literary texts. You will work remotely, guiding students through challenging texts, essay writing techniques, and exam strategies. The aim is to foster a love for literature and build confidence for academic success, all from your chosen location.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging online tutoring sessions for GCSE English Literature students.
• Guide students through the analysis of key literary texts, themes, and characters.
• Develop and implement effective strategies for essay writing, critical response, and exam preparation.
• Provide personalized feedback and support to help students improve their understanding and grades.
• Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and the platform administration regarding progress and session planning.

Requirements

• A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related humanities subject.
• Proven experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English Literature.
• Strong understanding of the GCSE English Literature syllabus and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for online delivery.
