Job Details
This Onsite Service Assistant supports and maintains devices within a specified client account based on site. Using remote monitoring software and incident management applications, you will provide first‑level hardware and software service support, acting as Apogee’s front‑line representative.
Key responsibilities include:
- Respond to and, where necessary, Escalate customer service requests.
- Map Desktop Print Queues and troubleshoot device issues.
- Attend basic break/fix for printer jams or other minor issues.
- Manage and reorder consumables (ink/toner), including recycling.
- Monitor a large fleet of print devices.
- Ensure client devices are operating correctly.
- Report device performance to the Area Service Manager.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30 – onsite five days a week.
Skills & Experience Required
- Professional and courteous client interaction skills, both remotely and in person.
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to follow procedures.
- Capacity to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Organise workload for maximum productivity while meeting customer requirements.
- Self‑motivated; able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Customer‑centric mindset.
- Computer literate with technical aptitude highly desired.
- Flexibility to adapt to change.
Basic DBS
This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Applicants only need to disclose unspent convictions; spent convictions do not need to be declared and will not be taken into account.
