About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Operational Excellence Manager to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is vital for driving continuous improvement initiatives and embedding a culture of efficiency and quality throughout the organization. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong background in process improvement methodologies and a passion for optimizing operational performance. This position requires hands-on involvement in operational processes and close collaboration with site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational excellence programs, focusing on lean principles and Six Sigma.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across all operational areas.
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices.
- Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
- Measure and report on the impact of implemented initiatives on key performance indicators.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or process engineering.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and achieving measurable results.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent facilitation and training skills.
