Operational Excellence Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to join their team in Bristol . This role is dedicated to driving continuous improvement across all business operations, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and quality. You will champion methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, working collaboratively with various departments to achieve significant operational advancements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to foster a culture of improvement within a dynamic hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency gains using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Develop and deliver training programs to foster a continuous improvement mindset throughout the company.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with department heads and teams to implement sustainable process changes and measure their impact.
• Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events to drive problem-solving and innovation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operational Excellence Manager or in a similar continuous improvement role.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to train and mentor teams.
