About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven Operations Analyst to join their team in Liverpool . This role is critical for examining operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs. You will work closely with the operations management team to develop reports, conduct performance analyses, and support strategic decision-making through quantitative insights. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, understandable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from various sources.
- Develop performance dashboards and reports to track key operational metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in operational data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and propose solutions.
- Support the operations team with data-driven insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Management, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-3 years of experience in an operations analysis or data analyst role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and ideally a BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
