Operations Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Operations Analyst to join their team remotely, supporting their manufacturing and supply chain operations which may include activities near Glasgow . This role is critical in monitoring operational performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making and efficiency improvements. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key operational metrics to support the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze operational data from various sources, including production, inventory, and logistics systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement within the operational workflows.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to management for optimizing processes, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency.
• Support the implementation of new operational strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an Operations Analyst or similar analytical role, preferably within manufacturing or supply chain.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment.
