About the Role
Our client seeks a sharp and analytical Operations Analyst to join their team in Southampton . This role is crucial for evaluating and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's business operations. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management. The successful candidate will play a key part in identifying performance trends, streamlining workflows, and supporting strategic decision-making to enhance overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse data related to operational performance, productivity, and resource utilisation.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas of inefficiency within operational processes.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their operational challenges and provide analytical support.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations analysis or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, and preferably a BI tool like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good understanding of business operations and process mapping.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
