About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and results-driven Operations Director to oversee and enhance their operational framework in Cardiff . This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the company's core operations. You will be responsible for setting operational objectives, implementing effective strategies, and managing a diverse team to achieve high standards of performance. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration to foster team cohesion and strategic alignment. You will play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies to meet business objectives and drive growth.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of operational staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success.
- Manage operational budgets and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance operational performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Director or in a similar senior management role.
- Strong understanding of operational best practices and performance management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
