About the Role
Our client is seeking a driven and analytical Operations Excellence Lead to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across their operations in Sheffield . This role is focused on identifying and implementing process enhancements, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. You will utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall business performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual to make a significant impact on operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of operational excellence programs utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction across all operational areas.
- Develop and conduct training sessions on operational excellence methodologies for staff.
- Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
- Manage and execute improvement projects from conception to completion.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practice sharing throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or process improvement roles.
- Proven experience applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent project management and change management capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Black Belt or Green Belt) is highly desirable.
