Operations Excellence Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic Operations Excellence Lead to drive continuous improvement initiatives within their operations based near Bristol . This leadership role is responsible for championing and implementing best practices in operational efficiency, quality, and productivity across the organization. You will leverage your expertise in Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies to foster a culture of excellence and achieve significant performance gains. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive operations excellence strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects, from identification and scoping through to implementation and sustainment.
• Train and mentor employees at all levels on continuous improvement principles and tools.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for improvement.
• Standardize processes and best practices across different departments and sites.
• Drive a culture of accountability and performance measurement, tracking KPIs and reporting on progress to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, industrial engineering, or a dedicated operations excellence role.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or equivalent extensive experience.
• Proven track record of leading successful, large-scale continuous improvement programs.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Strong change management capabilities and experience influencing organizational culture, crucial for the Bristol area.
