Operations Excellence Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Operations Excellence Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives within their Stoke-on-Trent operations. This role is focused on embedding a culture of operational excellence, implementing best practices, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and quality. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff on improvement methodologies, and ensure sustainable operational gains. This is a fantastic opportunity for a process-improvement specialist in Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the implementation of the company's operational excellence strategy.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities for process improvement across all operational functions.
• Implement and manage Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Train and mentor employees on operational excellence principles and tools.
• Facilitate workshops and kaizen events to drive problem-solving and improvement actions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and ensure sustained results.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing continuous improvement programs and driving operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (certification preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong facilitation, training, and change management skills.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
