Operations Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Operations Improvement Engineer to join their team in Glasgow . This role is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operational processes through the application of industrial engineering principles. You will be responsible for analyzing complex operational challenges, developing data-driven solutions, and leading the implementation of process improvements across various departments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing operational workflows and identify areas for optimization in Glasgow .
• Design and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track operational efficiency and key results.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of improvement projects, ensuring successful adoption and sustainability.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement techniques.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or methodologies to enhance operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in process improvement, operations analysis, or a similar role.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
