About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Operations Industrial Engineer to join their team in Portsmouth . Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Develop and implement solutions to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Conduct time studies, capacity planning, and layout analyses to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and teams to implement process changes and ensure smooth operations.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and visual work instructions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or operations engineering role.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
