About the Role

Our client, a dynamic industrial conglomerate, is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Lead to oversee and optimize critical industrial processes from their operational hub in Belfast . This leadership role is central to ensuring peak performance, efficiency, and safety across all manufacturing and operational functions. You will be instrumental in shaping operational strategies, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Northern Ireland division.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and operational staff to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans that align with company objectives and market demands.
• Oversee the performance of industrial processes, identifying and addressing inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the operational sites.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage operational budgets, resources, and equipment procurement to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Operations Management, or related) or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations management or industrial engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex industrial operations and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic operational plans.
• Experience with performance metrics, budget management, and risk assessment.
