Operations Lead

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and proactive Operations Lead to join their team in Sunderland . This role is designed for an individual with a strong understanding of operational processes and a passion for driving efficiency and improvement. You will play a key part in managing daily operations, supporting the operations manager, and leading small teams to achieve departmental objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily business activities and workflow.
• Lead and motivate a team of operational staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Implement and monitor operational procedures to maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.
• Assist in training new team members on operational procedures and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the operational areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an operational role , preferably with some supervisory responsibilities.
• Good understanding of operations management principles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to identify and solve operational challenges effectively.
• Familiarity with common business software and operational tools.
