About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee their Oil & Gas facilities in the Portsmouth area. This is a vital leadership role, responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of production and processing assets. You will manage a team of operational staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Oil & Gas industry . This position requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of daily operations for assigned Oil & Gas facilities , ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and production targets are met.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance production.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Oversee maintenance programs, ensuring asset integrity and minimizing downtime.
• Manage budgets, resources, and contractor performance effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical) or a related field.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in operational management within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proven track record of managing complex facilities and leading operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
