About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in Leicester . This critical role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all business operations, from production to supply chain and logistics. You will lead a team of operational staff, implement strategies to optimize efficiency, and maintain high standards of quality and service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operational processes and a proven ability to drive performance improvements within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to align with company objectives and improve efficiency.
- Manage and supervise daily operational activities, including resource allocation and workflow optimization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
- Oversee inventory management, supply chain logistics, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the operational facilities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operational team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar senior operational role.
- Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, and customer service.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
