About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Operations Manager to oversee their FMCG operations, with a hybrid working arrangement based in our Oxford facility. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across production, logistics, and supply chain functions. You will lead a dedicated operations team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of FMCG operations , including production, warehousing, and logistics, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, resources, and capital expenditures for the operations department.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and R&D, to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Operations Management , preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
