About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee their operations in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the business within the FMCG sector, managing production, logistics, and warehouse functions. You will be responsible for implementing operational strategies, driving continuous improvement, and leading a dedicated team to meet production targets and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize all aspects of the operational workflow, including production, warehousing, and distribution within the FMCG environment.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of high performance and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the industry.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in operations management, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, driving performance and engagement.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, quality control, and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
