About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day business activities in their Aberdeen facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard, directly contributing to the company's overall success and profitability. This role requires a proactive leader with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of operational processes within a competitive market. You will play a crucial part in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team and across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage and mentor a diverse team of operational staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring to ensure operational goals are met.
Implement and maintain strict quality control standards and safety protocols across all operations.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration and workflow.
Analyze operational data and prepare regular reports for senior management on key performance indicators.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar senior management role.
Strong understanding of operational management principles and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and P&L responsibilities effectively.
Proficiency in relevant software and operational management tools.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
