Our client, a leading organization in the agricultural technology manufacturing sector, is seeking a strategic and experienced Operations Manager to lead their facility in Norwich . This senior role encompasses responsibility for overseeing all aspects of production, supply chain, quality, and facility management to ensure efficient and profitable operations. You will drive operational excellence, implement best practices, and lead a dedicated team to meet company objectives. Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations , ensuring targets for output, quality, and cost are met.
Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Manage the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, and inventory control, to ensure seamless operations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and implement process improvements to optimize operational performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management , preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex operations, supply chains, and production teams.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001), and health & safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools.
