Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to lead their manufacturing operations based in Belfast . This role is crucial for driving efficiency, productivity, and profitability across the plant. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations, from production and supply chain to logistics and facility management. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily manufacturing operations , ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Manage supply chain, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations .
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of operational staff and supervisors.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to achieve targets.
Requirements
- Significant experience (5+ years) in a senior operations management role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving business objectives.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, supply chain management, and quality systems.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
