About the Role
Our client is actively seeking an Operations Process Engineer to join their team, working remotely from Belfast . This role is central to enhancing operational efficiency across the company's various business units. You will leverage your expertise in process analysis, optimization, and implementation to drive significant improvements in productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. As a remote employee, you will collaborate extensively with teams located in different regions, utilizing digital tools to manage projects and communicate findings effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Design, develop, and implement optimized processes and systems using lean methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Lead virtual cross-functional teams to execute process improvement projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering, operations analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in process mapping software (e.g., Visio) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Excellent virtual communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
