Operations Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Operations Project Manager to streamline and optimize operational processes from their Stoke-on-Trent facility. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing project plans to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. This role requires a strategic approach to operational challenges and a strong ability to lead change initiatives across various departments. You will play a key role in enhancing the company's operational effectiveness and competitive edge in Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on improving operational efficiency, supply chain management, and workflow optimization in Stoke-on-Trent .
• Analyze existing operational processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, proposing data-driven solutions.
• Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements for operational enhancements.
• Manage project execution, ensuring that initiatives are implemented effectively and achieve their intended outcomes.
• Collaborate with departmental managers and staff to drive change adoption and ensure smooth transitions.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of implemented projects and report on progress.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong focus on operations or process improvement.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
• Based in or able to commute to Stoke-on-Trent regularly.
