About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee their production floor in Reading . This role is critical for ensuring that daily production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards. You will lead and motivate a team of production staff, manage workflow, and ensure adherence to all operational procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of the production team to meet output and quality goals.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production lines, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to improve workflow.
- Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel and materials, to optimize productivity.
- Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
