Job Description
A UK charity that went live on Oracle Fusion Cloud last year is bringing Oracle Payroll skills in-house, and this role is the one that owns it.
The environment is live, stabilising, and needs someone who wants to get into the detail rather than raise a ticket and wait. You'll be the person Finance, HR and IT come to when the payroll doesn't do what they expected, and you'll fix it.
What's in it for you
- £55,000 per annum
- Fully remote, 35 hours per week
- Permanent
- A live Oracle Fusion Payroll environment to own end to end, with no implementation partner sitting in the middle
- The autonomy that comes with being the in-house SME
- Charity sector benefits and a sense of purpose that comes with the mission
About the employer
A large UK charity working with children, young people and families across hundreds of services nationally. They went live on Oracle Fusion Cloud last year and are now moving from implementation into steady-state ownership.
What you will be doing
- Configuring payroll elements, calculation cards and Fast Formulas
- Investigating and resolving payroll and absence defects independently
- Owning pension auto-enrolment configuration and UK statutory payments end to end
- Managing Oracle quarterly updates and patch testing
- Working closely with HR, Finance and Technology on continuous improvement
What you will need
- Hands-on Oracle Cloud Fusion Payroll configuration and support experience on a UK payroll
- Absence Management configuration
- Comfortable diagnosing and fixing defects end to end rather than escalating
EBS-only backgrounds unfortunately won't fit. This role is Cloud Fusion specific.
Useful, not essential
- OTL exposure
- Public sector or charity sector background
- Experience of the newer Oracle Cloud interface
