Outreach Rehabilitation Support Worker

Location: Sheffield area – driving licence and vehicle required.

Salary: £13.45 per hour.

Vacancy Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent.

Our Outreach Rehabilitation Support Workers work alongside neuro-therapists to help people regain skills and a quality of life after a life-changing injury. The role involves completing activities such as woodturning, bowling, swimming and botcha, and supporting individuals to engage with academic studies such as university. No two days are the same.

Additional duties include supporting daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning, morning and evening routines) and providing aspects of personal care.

Responsibilities

• Work within the community, supporting individuals in their own homes and workplaces.
• Plan and facilitate a varied rota, including weekend work.
• Assist clients with physical, cognitive and social activities to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to tailor support plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Passion for improving the lives of others and a positive, energetic attitude.
• Willingness to undertake full training; no prior experience required.
• Capability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
