Outreach Tutor - Wirral
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking committed Outreach Tutors to support children and young people throughout the Wirral.
This rewarding role involves providing personalised 1:1 tuition to learners who may be out of education, accessing alternative provision or requiring additional support to re-engage with learning. You'll adapt every session to suit the learner's needs while building confidence and encouraging positive outcomes.
Position Details
* Location: Wirral
* Position: Outreach Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with children or young people on a 1:1 basis
* Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH or alternative provision
* QTS or equivalent (preferred)
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
