About the Role

reliable and experienced Grill Chef to join a busy and friendly restaurant team in Hove.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who isconfident working on the grill, enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food.

The position is initially part-time, with the possibility of additional hours becoming availableas the role develops.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
• Confidently operating the grill during busy services
• Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time
• Completing food preparation before and during service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Monitoring food quality, portion control and presentation
• Supporting other members of the kitchen team when required
• Helping with opening, closing and cleaning dutiesCommunicating effectively with the wider restaurant team

About You

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have previous experience working as a chef or within a commercial kitchen
• Are confident and experienced in working on a grill
• Can remain organised and focused during busy services
• Are dependable, punctual and hardworking
• Work well as part of a team
• Take pride in the quality and presentation of your food
• Understand the importance of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Are flexible regarding working hours and additional shifts

A relevant food hygiene qualification would be beneficial.
