P6 Planning Manager

Are you an experienced P6 Planning Manager ready to lead a team delivering civils utility projects nationwide? Our client, one of the UK’s leading utility companies is looking for someone to oversee its planning function and support project delivery.

Salary to £100,000 | Company car or allowance | Annual Bonus | Stakeholder Pension | Numerous Company Benefit Schemes | 26 days’ holiday plus bank holidays

P6 Planning Manager - Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, support and develop a team of P6 Planners and Senior Planners

• Oversee the production, updating and monitoring of project programmes in Primavera P6 under NEC forms of contract

• Set planning priorities and ensure programmes are consistent, accurate and kept up to date throughout each project

• Work with project and construction teams to review progress, identify risks and agree mitigation measures

• Review progress reports and present programme information to project teams, senior stakeholders and clients

• Support Project Managers with planning decisions and attend project and client meetings

P6 Planning Manager - Requirements:

• Experience leading and developing P6 Planners in a Utilities or Civil Engineering environment

• Excellent practical knowledge of Primavera P6 and project planning under NEC forms of contract

• The ability to review complex programmes, challenge assumptions and communicate programme risks clearly
