The Role
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicle finishes, ensuring every repair meets the highest standards before vehicles are returned to customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing vehicles and panels ready for the paint process.
- Mixing and colour matching paints to manufacturer specifications.
- Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat using professional spray-painting techniques.
- Carrying out paint rectification and polishing where required.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of finish and presentation.
- Working closely with Panel Beaters, MET Technicians and the wider bodyshop team.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Following all health, safety and environmental procedures.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Vehicle Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher who takes pride in producing first-class paint finishes.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Vehicle Paint Refinisher.
- Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent colour matching and blending skills.
- Experience working within a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to work efficiently and meet agreed deadlines.
- A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
