Pallet Network Driver - Wolverhampton Hub

About the Role

Our client requires a skilled and diligent Pallet Network Driver to work from their hub in Wolverhampton . This role involves collecting and delivering palletized freight, predominantly through a recognized pallet network, requiring proficiency in driving larger vehicles and managing load distribution. You will be integral to ensuring the smooth flow of goods for businesses across the West Midlands and beyond. Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver palletized goods from various customer sites and depots within the network.
• Ensure all loads are correctly loaded, secured, and accounted for.
• Operate an LGV vehicle (Class 1 or 2, depending on assignment) safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all relevant transport legislation, including tachograph and working time regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with the transport office and other network partners.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.

Requirements

• Valid LGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving license.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven experience working within a pallet network or general haulage.
• Good understanding of load safety and vehicle operation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines.
• Excellent navigational skills and knowledge of the Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
