About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Pallet Network Operative to join their busy logistics hub in Nottingham . This role is integral to the efficient processing and dispatch of palletized goods within a national network. You will be responsible for handling, sorting, and organizing pallets, ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth operations. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses attention to detail, and works well within a team environment. This is a crucial role for someone looking to contribute to the seamless flow of goods through a fast-paced distribution centre, ensuring timely deliveries across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming palletized goods.
• Sort and organize pallets according to destination and delivery requirements.
• Operate pallet trucks and other handling equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
• Ensure the warehouse area is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
• Collaborate with drivers and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient dispatch operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg).
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with handling palletized goods and basic inventory management.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
